SOS-SAVING OUR SPECIES
Endangered species are the species that are under the threat of extinction. When an animal or species is termed endangered they are either disappearing fast from the face of the planet or are very sparsely populated, not good enough for survival of the animal community in the long run. The IUCN has a list of endangered species which is called the Red List .The list serves as a guide and determines the level of danger an animal community is under.
SAVING OUR SPECIES- S.O.S was a collaborative activity which was conducted with the objective of making our children explore and gather information about different endangered species of the world and various reasons for their getting endangered. Students did a plethora of activities in order to fulfill the objective.
POSTER MAKING:This was a very informative and creative activity wherein the students came up with beautiful and expressive posters of various endangered animals.
WORLD OF ENDANGERED: In this activity the students prepared display boards, depicting information on endangered species in the form of write-ups, slogans, posters and many more artistic presentations.
PROJECT REPORT: Students prepared Project Report on Endangered Animals as a part of their Summer Holidays Homework. They gathered information about endangered animals and various laws for their protection in their own country and shared it with their partner country through PPT prepared by them. This activity gave them a very good platform for the interchange of knowledge gained
